DAVID FERRIE (John Frick) David's always happy to have the opportunity to work with his friends at SoOP. David has lately been doing work with Boulevard Ensemble. He's also been busy doing feature films like SMALL TOWN WISCONSIN as well as CORRIDOR. His favorite theatre roles are: John in SHINING CITY, Colm Primrose in SEA MARKS, Clarence Darrow in DARROW and Whitney in ANYTHING GOES.
ZACH THOMAS WOODS (Leroy Hamilton) has worked as a performer, director, and playwright in the greater Milwaukee area for nearly 10 years. He has appeared at First Stage (Spongebob, Arthur, Big Fish), Skylight Music Theatre (The Full Monty, Les Miserables, Hair), Milwaukee Chamber Theatre (Great Expectations), Next Act Theatre (The Tin Woman, Red Herring, Laughter on the 23rd Floor) and Northern Sky Theater (Love Stings.) Directing credits include Julius Caesar, Evita, Footloose, Arsenic and Old Lace, and Death by Design. An award-winning playwright, Woods’ latest show, ‘Neath the Hills of Bastogne, received a staged reading at Milwaukee Chamber Theatre in 2019 and a full production at Sunstone Studios in 2022.
TORI WATSON (Patricia Hamilton) is pleased as punch to be welcomed back by Seat of Our Pants after appearing as Georgie in “Heisenberg” last year. After building her artistic career for over a decade in NYC, she is delighted to be back in her hometown of Milwaukee, where she has previously worked with Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, Sunset Playhouse, First Stage Milwaukee, Rogue Theatre, and Skylight Music Theatre. NYC credits include The Shell Theatre, Theatre for a New City, TheatreWorks/USA, and Dalliance Theatre. Proud graduate of the Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University.
LESLIE FITZWATER (Karen Frick) has been active in the music and theatre community for more than 40 years, and is thrilled to be back reading for Seat of Our Pants Reader’s Theatre. Her last reading was ALABAMA STORY. Leslie’s career spans opera, theater, music theater, cabaret, and mime, and her roles have been as diverse as Paddington Bear and Carmen. While she has played her share of well-known characters such as The Witch (INTO THE WOODS), Marmee and Aunt March (LITTLE WOMEN) and Golda (FIDDLER ON THE ROOF), she is best known for her one-woman show EDITH PIAF ONSTAGE. Leslie has been a private voice teacher at Pius XI High School since 2007.
JOHN STANO (Music) is an award- winning singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Milwaukee. He is nominated for the 2023 Singer Songwriter of the Year WAMI award, his fourth nomination to date. He is a past recipient of the WSSS Singer Songwriter of the Year Award and has released four recordings of original music. John is no stranger to Seat of Our Pants productions. He composed and performed the theme and underscore music and was the Foley artist for their 2019 production of the play, Alabama Story, by Kenneth Jones. MARK FLAGG (Stage Directions) been active with Seat of Our Pants Readers Theatre since it began in 1991, acting, directing, and producing. In addition to solo and duo programs at Independent Living residences, Mark has presented evenings of short plays (Winter Shorts) and full-length plays such as Ken Jones’ Alabama Story (2019) and Simon Stephens’ Heisenberg (Tori Watson & Mark F) with 53212 Presents.
